Ullanta Performance Robotics / Barry Werger und Todd Kornfeld, USA
Ullanta Performance Robotics presents
"Two Plays for Autonomous Robots"

Starring Sillp'ancho, Llaqwa, and Ullanta the Robot Levin Directed by Barry Brian Werger
1. "The Self-Made Man and the Moon"
Based on the Poem by Paul Genega and A. N. Scriabin's Sonata Fantasie No. 2

2. "Manners"
by Roxanne Linnea Rae (author of "Fifi and Josie: A Tale of Two Lesbiots")

Ullanta's plays are full, plotted, theatrical productions that are performed by completely autonomous robots. The combination of a high-level script and lower-level behaviour-based control leads to lifelike activity on stage. Interaction of the robots with each other and their environment is based on vision, which allows the audience to easily relate to the robots and become emotionally involved. While the essential elements of the plot always occur, the reactive nature of the behavioural control ensures that each performance will be different.

"The Self-Made Man and the Moon" is a tale of the invention of the self, as told by a deformed Brazilian barber "Manners" will celebrate the artistic culture of 1920's Vienna.
